The 49ers named ALEX CHANG CMO. Chang, a '13 SBJ "Forty Under 40" honoree, most recently served as Samsung Head of Sports Marketing, but has also worked for American Express, IMG and Wasserman over the last eight years (49ers). The 49ers also recently promoted HARPREET BASRAN to VP/HR and JIHAD BEAUCHMAN to VP & Deputy General Counsel (THE DAILY).

EXECS: Sources said that former Pistons GM JEFF BOWER has "agreed to a deal" to become the Suns' new Senior VP/Basketball Operations. He will "work in a reshaped front office" with GM JAMES JONES (ESPN.com, 4/10)....The G League College Park Skyhawks named DAN DIAL President. Dial joins the Skyhawks after a seven-year run as Frontier League River City Rascals President (Skyhawks)....FanDuel named LAINIE COONEY to the newly created position of Chief People Officer. Cooney will report to FanDuel CEO MATT KING (FanDuel).
