Camarena Tequila Becomes Latest Company To Sponsor '19 Gold Cup
Camarena Tequila has signed a partnership with Concacaf for the ’19 Gold Cup, making it the official tequila of the confederation’s national team championship this year. The deal, brokered by SUM, will grant the liquor brand the ability to activate in select Gold Cup match markets, as well as the ability to create and distribute co-branded items for retail and at bars and restaurants. Camarena Tequila will also have exclusive rights to a digital content series focused on the best moments from each match, and it will also have a presence at the pregame celebration as well. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The ’19 Gold Cup, which will begin on June 15, will be played across 13 U.S. cities. Official sponsors of this year’s tournament include Allstate, Cerveza Modelo, Nike, Scotiabank, Sprint and Toyota.
