The CP noted communications company Quebecor is "threatening to cut its TVA Sports channel from Bell TV subscribers as part of a dispute over carriage fees -- and has launched a public campaign to try to make Bell take the blame for it." TVA Sports is the "exclusive French-language broadcaster" of NHL playoff games, and the "only channel in either language carrying many" Impact games. This means that Quebecor's "threat could leave many Quebec sports fans in the dark" (CP, 4/8).
