Some proceeds from Aerie x Aly Raisman will be donated to a nonprofit working against sex abuseGETTY IMAGES

Aly Raisman is "launching a new activewear collection, her second collaboration with ath-leisure and intimates teen retailer Aerie," according to Kellie Ell of WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY. The nine-piece assortment, Aerie x Aly Raisman, includes "brightly colored stretchy pants, bralettes and flowing tank tops." Raisman also "penned inspirational quotes along some of the hems, with phrases like 'Trust yourself,' 'Unapologetically me,' and 'In the moment.'" She said that she "hopes the collaboration will heighten awareness about child sexual abuse victims." Raisman has been part of the Aerie family since '18, when she "signed up as an AerieREAL Role Model, the campaign that promotes body positivity and un-airbrushed models." Aerie is now donating 15% of proceeds from this new collection, or up to $75,000, to Darkness To Light, a non-profit that "works to prevent child sexual abuse." Prices "range from $25 to $50 and items are available online and in select stores for a limited time starting April 4" (WWD.com, 4/3).

GOOD NEWS: WOMEN'S WEAR DAILY's Rosemary Feitelberg noted Boston-based sportswear brand Life Is Good, to "celebrate its 25th year," has teamed up with Raisman and Dunkin’ to "try to jump-start a nationwide movement" called #SomethingGood. For every #SomethingGood that is "shared online, the company will donate $1 to the Life Is Good Kids Foundation." The "goal is to reach donating" up to $1M (WWD.com, 4/2).
