Syracuse Football Sells 4,000 New Season Tickets; Renewals At 90%

Syracuse football has sold "more than 4,000 new season tickets" ahead of the '19 season, a figure that is "among the largest year-over-year increases on record," according to Nate Mink of the Syracuse POST-STANDARD. The school has received more than a 90% renewal rate on last year’s season-ticket packages, but it "did not release the total number of season tickets currently sold." Syracuse’s average attendance last season was 37,043 fans, the "highest figure since it averaged 40,447 fans" in '14. The team is coming off a 10-3 season, and the Orange finished 6-0 at the Carrier Dome last season for the first time since '01 (Syracuse POST-STANDARD, 4/2).
