Executive Transactions

NASCAR internally announced several promotions, largely centered around adding seniority to the titles of longtime execs. NASCAR is not announcing the news publicly, but President STEVE PHELPS sent a memo to staff. The promotions are: Senior VP & CFO SUSAN SCHANDEL to Exec VP & CFO; VP/NASCAR Digital Media TIM CLARK to Senior VP & Chief Digital Officer; VP/Partnership Marketing LOU GARATE to Senior VP/Partnership Marketing; VP/Global Media Strategy & Distribution BRIAN HERBST to Senior VP/Broadcast & Innovation; VP/Brand Marketing PETE JUNG to Senior VP/Marketing; and VP/Innovation & Racing Development JOHN PROBST to Senior VP/Racing Innovation (Adam Stern, THE DAILY).

EXECS: Learfield IMG College announced that veteran sales exec ANDREW JUDELSON will lead national sales for the newly merged company. Judelson’s title will be Exec VP/National Sales, and he will report to CRO ANDY RAWLINGS. Judelson had spent the past six years overseeing national sales for IMG College and previously was a senior sales exec at WWE, U.S. Ski & Snowboarding and SI (Michael Smith, THE DAILY)....The Univ. of Hawaii has extended AD DAVID MATLIN's contract through April '23. His current deal was set to expire in April '20. He will maintain his current annual salary of around $300,000 (Honolulu STAR-ADVERTISER, 3/29).
