Brands Utilizing Broadcasters As Endorsers During March Madness

The NCAA Tournament is always a prime spot on the calendar for brands to roll out new campaigns with endorsers in the sports industry, and one specific group that sees a lot of work is broadcasters working in and around the tournament. With the Sweet 16 underway, THE DAILY looks at which broadcasters are appearing in March Madness-themed ads across the airwaves and internet, and who they are representing.

Regular tourney personalities like Charles Barkley and Ernie Johnson are back on the list, while notable newcomers like Candace Parker have also broken onto the scene. AT&T is one brand that has often put NCAA broadcasters in its March Madness spots, but this year it has been going with a campaign featuring fictional announcers. Some notable names who have endorsed brands around March Madness but have not been featured in any NCAA-related spots so far this year include Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and Reggie Miller.
