Jazz Testing In-Seat Deliveries For Mobile Merchandise Orders

The Jazz have started testing in-seat deliveries for mobile merchandise orders at Vivint Smart Home Arena, a likely precursor to testing out mobile food and drink orders next season with concessionaire Levy Restaurants. Jazz Senior VP/Marketing Bart Sharp said the team has started testing out mobile retail orders and deliveries to fans who spend $75 or more. Those orders are made through the team app, which is from VenueNext. Sharp said the first night had close to 100 orders without much marketing or publicity. The Jazz run their own arena team shops. Sharp said mobile concessions testing will likely start next NBA season. “We’re working closely with Levy right now on that strategy,” said Sharp, who oversees the team's digital and mobile efforts. The Jazz already are looking at going cash-free at the venue in the coming years.
