LeBron James and Maverick Carter are executive producers on the documentaryHBO

An upcoming, two-part HBO documentary, "WHAT'S MY NAME/MUHAMMAD ALI," will debut May 14. The film is directed by ANTOINE FUQUA, with LEBRON JAMES and SpringHill Entertainment CEO MAVERICK CARTER serving as exec producers (NEWSDAY.com, 3/5). Meanwhile, a film about the sex abuse scandal involving LARRY NASSAR "will have its world premiere" at the Tribeca Film Festival in N.Y. The film, "AT THE HEART OF GOLD," is an HBO documentary and was "directed and written by ERIN LEE CARR" (FREEP.com, 3/5).

LEGAL MATTERS: ROBERT KRAFT has retained WILLIAM BURCK, who was a lawyer in PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH's White House. Kraft also hired JACK GOLDBERGER, the Florida lawyer who defended JEFFREY EPSTEIN, a "wealthy New York financier accused of trafficking underage girls for sex" (N.Y. TIMES, 3/6).

THE GOOD STUFF: The Big 12, in conjunction with a $150,000 grant from the CFP Foundation, "funded the $70,000 makeover" of the Heronville Elementary School library in Oklahoma City. The Big 12 took the annual grant and "funded library makeovers" at schools in Arlington, Oklahoma City and K.C. All are "sites of conference championships, including the women's basketball tournament, which starts Friday at Chesapeake Energy Arena" (NEWSOK.com, 3/6)....The Lightning Foundation reached its $18M "milestone" with last night's Lightning Community Hero recognition. Community heroes have been recognized by the Lightning since October '11 at "every home regular and post-season contest." The Lightning hosted the first "Go Green Night" during last night's game against the Jets (TAMPABAY.com, 3/5).

NAMES: Longtime Edmonton Sun sports columnist TERRY JONES will be inducted into the Canadian Curling HOF as part of the ’19 class (EDMONTONSUN.com, 3/6)....Singer DEMI LOVATO “knocked out” the front tooth of Fox’ JAY GLAZER yesterday “while he was wearing a mouthguard.” The pair were training at Unbreakable Performance Studio in West Hollywood, where Glazer works as an MMA trainer (NYPOST.com, 3/5).
