A's COO Chris Giles said that the team's new season-ticket plan, A's Access, has "drawn a team-record 7,000 new customers, and renewals for existing plans are running" at 95%, according to Susan Slusser of the S.F. CHRONICLE. The new plan "ensures that any fan who purchases reserved seats for at least 10 games can attend each and every home game, with access to several areas of the ballpark." Upgrades with the plan are "also available to reserved seats, and ticket plans include numerous additional benefits." A number of "teams, promoters and venues have contacted the A's to learn more about their sales approach." A's Access plans will "not count toward attendance figures unless the pass is actually used" (S.F. CHRONICLE, 3/6).
