Brewers' Brent Suter Partners With Zulu To Reduce Plastic Waste

Brewers P Brent Suter got 74 of his teammates, managers, employees and team broadcasters this week to "make a public commitment to reduce their plastic use" in Spring Training by using Zulu glass water bottles as a part of Suter's Strike Out Waste campaign, according to Lori Nickel of the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL. Suter reached out to the Zulu company and they "agreed to a partnership." The company "shipped boxes of water bottles earlier this week and more are on the way." Suter got members of his team to "pose for fun skits and pictures" all over his social media platforms. Suter hopes the Brewers can be "leaders of example in the elimination of one-use plastic bottles, both for fans, and for the sports world to follow" (MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL, 3/1).
