CAA Restructures Leadership In NBA Representation Practice

CAA Sports is making a change to the leadership structure in its NBA athlete representation practice, including the promotion of veteran agents AARON MINTZ and AUSTIN BROWN to the positions of co-Heads of CAA Basketball. Mintz and Brown will lead the division, working alongside longtime CAA Basketball co-Heads LEON ROSE and STEVEN HEUMANN. CAA Sports has also named LISA JOSEPH-METELUS, JESSICA HOLTZ and LLOYD FRISCHER, a '19 "Forty Under 40" winner, as co-Heads of Client Management, and they will continue to work collaboratively to identify, negotiate and execute all off-court client business opportunities for CAA Sports NBA player clients. Additionally, CAA Sports has also signed a long-term employment contract extension with veteran NBA player agent TY SULLIVAN, who has played a key role in CAA Basketball's recruiting efforts. CAA Basketball had a big year in '18, negotiating more than $855M in new playing contracts on behalf of its NBA player clients. In '18, CAA Basketball also brokered $75M in marketing agreements for clients.
