New Gametime Feature To Showcase Tickets For In-Progress Events

Mobile-based ticket company Gametime is introducing LastCall, a feature within its platform to deliberately showcase ticket listings for live events even after they start. LastCall will spotlight events up to 90 minutes after they start, and is a direct response to Gametime research showing 27% of ticket buyers both on and off its platform are buying tickets after an event’s start time. The move represents a further amplification of last-minute and impulse ticket buying for Gametime, which had already had seen more than half of its sales occurring within 36 hours of an event. “This is us doubling down on the last-minute experience,” said Gametime Founder & CEO Brad Griffith. “We’re bringing in a higher-end curation to really optimize the user experience and align it with this accelerating component of fan behavior.”
