Busch Beer Releasing Specialty Cans Made From Harvick's Race Car

Busch Beer has taken sheet metal from one of Kevin Harvick's No. 4 cars and turned it into 40 beer cans, which fans can win by playing an on-screen trivia contest during next week's Daytona 500. The contest involves tweeting answers to questions that will appear on Fox’ broadcast during the race with the hashtags #Car2Can and #BuschContest (Adam Stern, THE DAILY). USA TODAY's Michelle Martinelli noted Harvick "initially laughed" at the idea. He said, “You can see the beat-up decals and things that are on the can that actually came off the car.” Busch had the paint scheme on Harvick's car for "three of his career-high eight wins last season." Harvick: “There’s a little map on each can that shows you where the can and the piece of sheet metal was taken off the car. So it’s about as authentic as you can get.” Busch will be on Harvick’s car for 14 races this season starting next week (USATODAY.com, 2/6). NBCSPORTS.com's Dustin Long noted Busch also is "auctioning off the first can of the collection" on Monday in benefit of the nonprofit group Keep America Beautiful. All proceeds "will go directly to Keep America Beautiful and be matched dollar for dollar by Busch" (NBCSPORTS.com, 2/6).
