WNBA Takes Interim Title Off COO Christin Hedgpeth

Hedgpeth has previously worked for Under Armour, Spalding and Russell AthleticsWNBA

The WNBA has promoted from within to fill its vacant COO position, naming CHRISTIN HEDGPETH to the role, effective immediately. Hedgpeth had been working as interim COO since last October. She replaces ANN RODRIGUEZ. Hedgpeth joined the NBA in '14 and previously served as a VP in the NBA’s team marketing and business operations division. She will report directly to NBA Deputy Commissioner & COO MARK TATUM, who also is serving as WNBA interim President until a replacement is found for LISA BORDERS. Prior to the NBA, Hedgpeth worked for Under Armour, Spalding and Russell Athletic. The WNBA continues its search to replace Borders, who stepped down last October.
