Titans Announce Variable Pricing Increases In Club, Lower Levels

The Titans are increasing prices for "about 18,000 season-ticket holders representing more than 50,000 Nissan Stadium seats," according to Joe Rexrode of the Nashville TENNESSEAN. Under the variable pricing model, the Titans will have "six regular-season games at a standard price," and "two premium games next season, against the Saints and Chiefs, that will be more expensive." Prices in the upper deck, which "typically doesn’t come close to filling, will go down in some places and stay the same in others." Prices at the club level and lower level "will go up, by more" than 10% in some spots. Titans Senior VP & Chief Revenue Officer Stuart Spears said that the team "will remain in the bottom five in the NFL in overall ticket prices," and that Controlling Owner Amy Adams Strunk "wants to keep them in that range." Spears added that "maintaining and in some cases lowering prices in the upper level is an attempt to 'attract new customers.'" He noted that the Titans "didn’t touch prices in four of six years" from '11-16 at the club and upper level, and in "three of those six years at the lower level" (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 2/1).
