Where The Players Play: Atlanta Super Bowl Events Crank Up

Parties and other events around Super Bowl LIII are heating up in Atlanta, and tonight's opening of the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest picked up more star power with the additions of CIARA and 21 SAVAGE. The three nights of concerts at State Farm Arena kick off with LUDACRIS, who will be joined by MIGOS, LIL YACHTY, LIL BABY, METRO BOOMIN and LIL JON. It will continue with AEROSMITH and POST MALONE tomorrow, then BRUNO MARS with CARDI B on Saturday (AJC.com, 1/23).

STARS COME OUTMEEK MILL and Cardi B will headline MICHAEL RUBIN’s exclusive Fanatics party on Saturday at the College Football HOF from 12:00-4:00pm. GUCCI MANE, KEVIN HART, JAMIE FOXXROBERT KRAFT, PEYTON MANNING, AARON JUDGE and MITCHELL TRUBISKY are among those expected to attend (THE DAILY).

LOOKING LIVE: The S.O.S BANDMONICA and CRAIG CAMPBELL are among the artists who will perform at Super Bowl Live, which is running from Jan. 26-Feb. 2. The roster of Georgia-based performers also includes GOODIE MOB and WAKA FLOCKA FLAME. Centennial Olympic Park is hosting the six days of free concerts (AJC.com, 1/16).

ON THE RISE: The Ross Initiative in Sports for Equality (RISE) is hosting its fourth annual Super Bowl Town Hall at the King Center from 4:00-6:00pm ET today. It will be streamed live on The Undefeated. A panel discussion moderated by JASON REID will include ARTHUR BLANKDEE HASLAMRICARDO ALLENBRIAN BANKS and TROY VINCENT. There will also be a fireside chat featuring Reid, BERNICE KINGPAUL TAGLIABUE and RISE CEO DIAHANN BILLINGS-BURFORD (RISE).

TONIGHT'S EVENTS: Budweiser will host a happy hour at Twin Smokers BBQ from 5:00-7:00pm. CAA Sports is hosting a cocktail party at Hotel Clermont starting at 7:00pm. The NFLPA will host its VIP Party at the Stave Room starting at 7:00pm. Global Sports Management will host the Legends Party at Suite Food Lounge on at 8:00pm. Entertainment will include the DOUG FLUTIE BAND as well as several local musicians and DJs (THE DAILY).

READY FOR THE WEEKEND: Sports events and media company Thuzio, co-founded by TIKI BARBER, will host an invitation-only, A-list red carpet event tomorrow from 7:00-10:00pm at Sweetwater Brewery. The party will be hosted by Bleacher Report’s ADAM LEFKOE and will include an in-depth, all access "Legends" series interview show with ADRIAN PETERSON and DAVID JOHNSON (Thuzio). Meanwhile, SunTrust Bank and the Braves are teaming up to host the "SunTrust Confidence Classic." The fan event includes a free two-day Fan Fest, with football-themed games and prizes, and the Celebrity Sweat 19th annual "Celebrity Flag Football Challenge," which kicks off Saturday at 1:00pm. The teams will be led by Doug Flutie and QUAVO against MICHAEL VICK and MICHAEL IRVIN. The game will also feature ANDRE REEDRON JAWORSKI and BRIAN JORDAN. Fan Fest will take place Saturday from 11:00am-5:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am-3:00pm (THE DAILY). Meanwhile, Shamrock Sports & Entertainment will be hosting a Super Bowl Social at Fado Irish Pub on Friday from 4:00-6:00pm (THE DAILY).
