The average Golden Knights season-ticket cost for a game is "going up from $88 to $100.12, but season ticket holders who committed to five-year and 10-year deals will enjoy frozen ticket prices" for the '19-20 season, according to Alan Snel of LVSPORTSBIZ.com. Season-ticket holders who initially bought three-year deals "did not face game price increases" this season, but they will see an "increase of about $20 per game in the ... lower bowl and $10 per game in the upper bowl" in '19-20. There are "four commitment length deals for fans, who can pay for agreements of one, three, five and 10 years." The Golden Knights said that season-ticket holder game prices are anywhere between 30-100% "under the average costs of tickets on the secondary market" (LVSPORTSBIZ.com, 1/22). In Las Vegas, David Schoen notes season-ticket holders who made a three-year commitment "now can extend their membership for four years" from the '20-21 season through '23-24. One-year members can "extend their season-ticket plan" through the '22-23 season. Golden Knights President & COO Kerry Bubolz and VP/Ticketing & Suites Todd Pollock said that these extensions "provide price protection and cap the cost of season tickets for members" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 1/23).

GAME ON! In Las Vegas, Heidi Fang notes Golden Knights RW Alex Tuch, C Erik Haula and Ds Colin Miller and Nate Schmidt yesterday "attended the 'VGK Twitch' event at HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor hotel-casino." The players "battled fans and each other at Mario Kart 8 Deluxe" (LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL, 1/23). Golden Knights mascot Chance and the team's cheerleaders were "also in the esports venue" for the event. The Golden Knights are "bullish on esports, looking at the new big-time world of video games as yet another way to connect with fans and convert esports-loving local millennials into new VGK fans" (LVSPORTSBIZ.com, 1/22).
