New Orleans-based IV Waste Founder Sidney Torres said that a photo of Saints RB Alvin Kamara which is "beginning to light up social media" was shot during "two commercials filmed recently" for the garbage company. In New Orleans, Kevin Litten notes Kamara can be seen wearing a IV Waste jacket as he "hangs from the side of one of Torres' gleaming black trucks, its 'IV' logo and phone number painted along the side." Torres said that he "doesn’t think Kamara is going to stop with the two commercials" (New Orleans TIMES-PICAYUNE, 1/18).

TIME TO CELEBRATE: In Columbia, Teddy Kulmala notes Clemson fans can celebrate the football team's CFP title win with a "commemorative Coca-Cola can." The can includes the "signature Coca-Cola logo along with Clemson’s iconic orange tiger paw and a logo commemorating" the team's championship run. The cans should be "arriving at retailers starting early next week but could arrive as early as Friday" (Columbia STATE, 1/18).

NAME RECOGNITION: Bridgestone and Monterey County (Calif.) signed a two-year agreement for the Firestone brand to be the title sponsor of the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Firestone is entering its 20th consecutive year as the sole tire supplier of the NTT IndyCar Series, and now will bookend the IndyCar calendar with title sponsorship races. The '19 season will open at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 8-10 (Bridgestone).
