In Milwaukee, Dave Kallmann reported local auto manufacturer REV Group will serve as title sponsor for the NTT IndyCar Series race at Road America on June 23. REV Group, which "replaces Kohler ... as title sponsor," makes "specialty vehicles such as ambulances, firetrucks, yard trucks, sweepers and recreational vehicles" (JSONLINE.com, 1/16). Bommarito Automotive Group earlier this week announced a three-year extension with Gateway Motorsports Park as the title sponsor of the track’s annual IndyCar Series race (THE DAILY).

KNIGHT-TIME DRIVING: The UCF specialty Florida license plate "cracked the Top 20 in 2018 with 22,638 registered plates" as of Jan. 1. That is "up more than 4,000 from a year ago, and almost 13,000 more than just five years ago." The Univ. of Florida remains No. 1 with 92,581 plates, while FSU fell to No. 4 with 71,125 plates. The Magic-themed plate ranks seventh out of the nine pro teams available, ahead of just the Marlins and Panthers. It "came in 85th overall statewide" among the 123 designs (ORLANDOSENTINEL.com, 1/16).

NICE TRICK: Operation Hat Trick is partnering with Fanatics in a deal that will see OHT-branded and co-branded apparel available across Fanatics' various outlets. Fanatics will be licensed to create OHT products, while the company also will source products from current and future OHT-licensed apparel and non-apparel manufacturers (Fanatics).
