Raiders Nearly Set To Break Ground On Henderson HQ, Practice Facility

The Raiders will "formally break ground" on their Henderson, Nev., HQ and practice facility this month, with the ceremonial groundbreaking "slated for Jan. 14," according to Blake Apgar of the LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL. The team for its 323,000 square-foot facility "wants to have" one and a half indoor football fields, a 200-seat theater, a training center and office space. Outside, the Raiders "plan to add three more fields, seating for fans and a pool." The Raiders have "committed to investing" an estimated $75M in the project's first phase.
