It's Official: NBC Sports Chicago Extends With Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks

NBC Sports Chicago’s deal with the White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks became official this afternoon. The multiyear deal starts with the '19-20 season and notably does not include the Cubs. The Cubs had been part of NBC Sports Chicago, but the team is close to a deal with Sinclair to launch its own RSN in the Chicago market. NBC Sports in a release says the rights deals with the White Sox, Bulls and Blackhawks still need to get approval from MLB, NBA and NHL. Financial terms were not released, but the three teams’ games will be exclusively on NBC Sports Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago+, outside of games featured on national networks.
