Buyers & Sellers: Golden Knights' Foley Buys Hawaii Estate For $46.1M

Golden Knights Owner BILL FOLEY purchased a 15-acre oceanfront estate near Kilauea, Hawaii, for $46.1M last month. The "all-cash transaction" had an original listing price of $70M (BIZJOURNALS.com, 12/13)....Boxer ANDRE BERTO is selling his home in Beverly Hills for $8.995M. Built in '16, the "boxy two-story features 12-foot-high ceilings, wide-plank floors and an expansive terrace/patio that spans the upper level." The 4,900-square-foot home has "five bedrooms and seven bathrooms." The house sits on a third of an acre lot with "lawn, mature landscaping and a swimming pool with a spa" (LATIMES.com, 12/13)....CBS Sports Radio's JIM ROME sold his home in Indio, Calif., for $2.5M. The four-bedroom, five-bathroom house, built in '09, "sits on a lakefront lot" of about two-thirds of an acre. A strip of "sandy lakefront sits beyond the swimming pool, which has a raised spa." There is also a "private boat dock with a lift" (LATIMES.com, 12/14)....JERRY WEST sold his home in the Playa Vista neighborhood of L.A. for $2.165M. The 3,700-square-foot, three-story house has "three bedrooms and four bathrooms." A three-car garage is "accessed from the rear" (LATIMES.com, 12/19).
