Valerie Camillo Hired As Flyers President Of Business Operations

Comcast Spectacor has hired VALERIE CAMILLO as Flyers and Wells Fargo Center President of Business Operations, which will make her one of only a few female execs to lead an NHL team. Camillo, who is currently Nationals Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, will oversee all of the team’s key business functions including sales, marketing, analytics and technology, as well as for the arena. The Sabres named KIM PEGULA President in May, making her the first female exec to serve in that role for an NHL team since the '50s when MARGUERITE NORRIS was in the same position for the Red Wings. Camillo, who also previously worked at the NBA and at Booz Allen Hamilton, is expected to begin her new role early in ’19. She will report directly to Comcast Spectacor President, Chair & CEO DAVE SCOTT. Turnkey Search, a division of Turnkey Sports & Entertainment, led the search on behalf of the organization.
