Rolling Stones Launching NFL Stadium Tour Next Spring

The Rolling Stones will go on a 13-stop stadium tour in America next spring, the band's "first extended run of shows in the U.S." since '15, according to Andy Greene of ROLLING STONE. The tour will "kick off April 20th at the Hard Rock Stadium ... and wrap up June 21st at Soldier Field" (ROLLINGSTONE.com, 11/19). The tour is being promoted by Concerts West, a division of AEG Presents (THE DAILY). VARIETY's Jem Aswad noted while just 13 dates were initially announced, there are "several days between each tour date," so additional shows "seem likely." The band had been "teasing the announcement for several weeks, with banners featuring its iconic logo hanging at football stadiums and various other hints" (VARIETY.com, 11/19).
