Whistle Sports COO MICHAEL COHEN has added President to his title, “taking over day-to-day duties that had been handled by co-founder JEFF URBAN,” who will remain on the BOD (BROADCASTINGCABLE.com, 11/16)....The Big Sky Conference named Learfield Sports Senior VP/Multimedia Rights TOM WISTRCILL Commissioner. Wistrcill had been at Learfield since '15, and served as Akron AD from '09-15. He will begin Dec. 10 (Big Sky)....Poker Central promoted VP/Content SAM SIMMONS to President, succeeding co-Founder JOE KAKATY, who will transition to an advisory role. Simmons will oversee live events, programming, marketing and new product development, as well as the OTT network PokerGO. Simmons plans to expand the amount of lifestyle and non-tournament content on PokerGo. He also said there is a strong synergy between the newly legalized sports betting landscape and poker, and predicted multiple alliances between the two camps (Eric Fisher, THE DAILY)....Baltimore-based NFL player rep firm PFS Agency named "veteran agent" JACOB PRESSER to a "senior agent role" and promoted agent SAMANTHA SANKOVICH to Partner and VP/Athlete Management & Marketing Strategy (BALTIMORE SUN, 11/17)....The Historical Basketball League, set to launch in '20, named former NBAer DAVID WEST COO (HBL).
