Mets Special Assistant J.P. RICCIARDI is "out effective immediately" as the Mets "continue to clean house" under new GM BRODIE VAN WAGENEN. Ricciardi, who first joined the Mets organization in '10, was "part of a three-headed interim GM group" with Senior VP/Baseball Operations & Assistant GM JOHN RICCO and Special Assistant OMAR MINAYA after then-GM SANDY ALDERSON "stepped aside in June" for health reasons (NYDAILYNEWS.com, 11/9).

EXECS: The Astros named Dodgers Senior Analyst EHSAN BOKHARI Dir of Research & Development. He replaces MIKE FAST, who left to become Braves Special Assistant to the GM. Astros Senior Technical Architect RYAN HALLAHAN, who joined Fast and former Special Assistant to the GM for Process Improvement SIG MEJDAL on the Astros' original analytics team, is "beginning a career in ministry." Hallahan will "remain as a software development consultant while he transitions." The Astros also named Orioles Dir of Analytics & Major League Contracts SARAH GELLES Research & Development Program Manager (HOUSTON CHRONICLE ,11/10)....The Anti-Defamation League has appointed Pac-12 Commissioner LARRY SCOTT to its newly formed BOD (Pac-12).
