Nielsen Sports & Entertainment Regional Head of Consulting and Global Head of Consulting, Brand & Sponsorship MICHAEL LYNCH is stepping down after five years with the company to pursue other interests. He joined the company in '14, and during his time with Nielsen, Lynch helped build the company's global consulting practice, integrating that unit and its acquisition of Repucom into Nielsen Sports. Nielsen is looking to collaborate with Lynch on future projects (THE DAILY).

GLOBAL SHIFT: Nike promoted Jordan Brand Global VP & GM CARL GREBERT to VP & GM of Asia Pacific and Latin America (APLA), effective Dec. 1. Additionally, Nike VP/Global Sales MIKE BEST will retire after nearly 30 years with the company and will be replaced by APLA VP & GM ANN HEBERT. Grebert and Hebert will report to Nike President of Consumer & Marketplace ELLIOTT HILL (Nike).

EXECS: The Action Network named VC firm Stripes Group Operating Partner PATRICK KEANE CEO. Keane will succeed NOAH SZUBSKI. Keane "holds a personal stake" in Action Network (WSJ.com, 11/6)....The Galaxy announced GM & VP/Soccer Operations PETER VAGENAS has been "relieved of his duties." Vagenas had been promoted to the position prior to the '17 MLS season (L.A. DAILY NEWS, 11/7)....The Heat named PGA Tour VP/Business Development CHRIS MARCIANI VP/Corporate Partnership & Activation (Heat)....The A's named NOAH ROSEN Manager of Project Development for their new "privately financed stadium" in Oakland. The A's last month promoted Manager of Ticket Sales & Business Development TYLER HEINKEL to Senior Manager of Premium and New Ballpark Sales and Manager of Strategy & Business Operations SUZI ALVAREZ to Dir of New Ballpark Sales. In September, the team promoted Senior Manager of Broadcast Services WARREN CHU to Manager of Neighborhood Engagement (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/6)....Populous promoted the following: BRETT WIGHTMAN (Singapore), LYLE MILLER (K.C.), SHAUN FERNANDES (London) and SIMON JORDAN (London) to Senior Principal; AL BAXTER (Sydney), JAMES PEARCE (Brisbane), JAMES SMITH (Brisbane), JASON CARMELLO (K.C.), GEOFF CHEONG (K.C.), NORMAN FRIEDMAN (K.C.) and MICHELLE NICHOLLS-SHAW (London) to Principal; and ANDREW NOONAN (Brisbane), MATT REYNOLDS (Sydney), BILL BOURNE (K.C.), JASON GARDNER (K.C.), KEVIN KOCH (K.C.), MEGGAN LUX (Tokyo), BRIDGET OTT (Denver), BOBBY SLOAN (Denver) and PAUL GOODALL (London) to Associate Principal (Populous).
