Curry hopes the documentary will highlight how a horrible tragedy can bring a community togetherSTEVEN SIWEK

Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY's production company, Unanimous Media, is co-executive producing a documentary on the '15 mass shooting at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston. "Emanuel" will be released in '19. As of now, there is no distribution partner attached to the 75-minute film, which is being co-executive produced by actress/producer VIOLA DAVIS' JuVee Productions. Curry and his business partner, JERON SMITH, founded Culver City-based Unanimous Media in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment earlier this year. "Emanuel" is the company's first project. The documentary features intimate interviews with survivors and family members of the shooting, which claimed the lives of nine members of the church. Curry in a statement said he hopes the documentary will highlight how a horrible tragedy can bring a community together and deliver an important message about the power of forgiveness.
