NHL Brings On Navy Federal Credit Union As Official Partner

The NHL has signed a multiyear partnership with Navy Federal Credit Union, who will now be the league’s official military appreciation partner. As part of the deal, Navy Federal Credit Union will be the presenting sponsor of an NBCSN broadcast doubleheader on Nov. 7 that will be titled NHL Veterans Appreciation Night, honoring retired service members. The credit union and the league will launch a digital platform called “Stick Tap for Service,” where veterans, active duty service members and their families can share stories on how hockey has impacted their lives. Navy Federal will serve as the league’s official partner and presenting sponsor for military-themed ceremonial elements at the league’s tentpole events and will be integrated into the league’s promotional assets such as dasherboards and in-game broadcasts. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
