Independent Sports & Entertainment is launching a new property sales group that will focus on securing global partnerships, sponsorships and naming rights for sports leagues, teams, venues and events. To that end, ISE has hired JAKE STONE, formerly of Omnigon and Cox Media Group, as VP/Property Sales. Stone will work out of L.A. and report to ISE CMO CHRIS GRANCIO. Grancio said that that the new division is a natural extension of ISE's athlete representation practice, which counts MLB, NFL and NBA players as clients. ISE is majority owned by Penguins co-Owner RON BURKLE (Liz Mullen, THE DAILY).

SCRUM RUNNER: S.F.-based investment firm Scrum Ventures named former Fancam exec MICHAEL PROMAN Managing Dir, where he will oversee Sports Tech Tokyo, a global mentor-driven accelerator program. The initiative, developed in partnership with Dentsu, seeks to develop early-stage companies in the sports tech space with a particular focus on Japan, and does not require companies to surrender equity to participate. Proman, who has had stints with the NBA and OptionIt, had been with Fancam since ‘15 (Eric Fisher, THE DAILY).

EXECS: The LPGA named former BOD member ROBERTA BOWMAN to the full-time position of Chief Brand & Communications Officer (LPGA). Bowman will oversee the LPGA's "creative department in the newly created position." Bowman spent "most of her business career" at Duke Energy in Charlotte, retiring in January '12 as Senior VP & Chief Sustainability Officer (GOLFWEEK.com, 10/29)....Turnkey Search named Univision Exec VP/Enterprise Development RICK ALESSANDRI Managing Dir & GM (Turnkey)....MLS expansion club Inter Miami named Orlando City Dir of HR & Administration DENNIS SPRENKLE VP/HR & Administration (Inter Miami)....AMA Pro Racing named NASCAR Vice Chair MIKE HELTON to its BOD (AMA Pro Racing).
