MLB Agent Brodie Scoffield Launches Tidal Sports Group

MLB agent Brodie Scoffield has launched a new agency called Tidal Sports Group, which is representing about 15 major and minor league players, including Astros 3B and AL MVP candidate Alex Bregman. Scoffield began his career at TLA Worldwide in '05, but left that agency in September. His new agency, based in San Clemente, Calif., also represents Blue Jays P Marcus Stroman, Braves Ps Kevin Gausman and Sean Newcomb and Red Sox C Blake Swihart. Tidal Sports Group also represents recent first-round draft picks 2B Keston Hiura (Brewers) and CF Jarred Kelenic (Mets). Agents Meghan Whelan and Chris Amezquita, who both also formerly worked at TLA Worldwide, are now working at Tidal Sports Group. Multiple MLB agents have reportedly left TLA Worldwide in recent months.
