The XFL has brought on former MKTG Senior VP/Marketing Communications STEPHANIE RUDNICK as Senior VP/Communications. Prior to MKTG, Rudnick had a stint as Wasserman VP/Corporate Communications & Marketing and also ran her own consultancy that included clients such as The Players’ Tribune, Stats LLC and a number of pro athletes. Rudnick will formally begin her role later this month (THE DAILY).

BIG HITTER: Golf Channel named USA Swimming CMO MATT FARRELL GM/Alternative Golf and World Long Drive Association Exec Dir. In addition to overseeing business activities for the WLD, which Golf Channel acquired in '15, Farrell will be asked to develop more unconventional owned-and-operated golf properties that could draw audiences outside of typical tournament broadcasts. Farrell has been with USA Swimming since '05, and in the CMO role since '08 (Ben Fischer, THE DAILY).

EXECS: Georgia-based high school event tickets and marketing company Huddle named Harlem Globetrotters VP/Global Partnerships KARL MAWHINNEY Exec VP/Corporate Partnerships and Coca-Cola Sports Marketing Group Dir BOB CRAMER Senior VP/Partnership Solutions. Mawhinney also had stints at Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, Lagardere and ISP Sports, while Cramer had stints at Mastercard and Genesco Sports (Huddle)....MLL named Pistons Dir of Consumer Marketing BUDDY ROSE Dir of Events (MLL)....Marketing agency Integrity 9 named Excel Sports Sales Manager DYLAN GLICKSTERN Dir of Business Development (THE DAILY)....Chicago State Univ. named Summit League Assistant Commissioner/Compliance ERYN COOK Associate AD/Compliance (CSU).
