Yankees RF Aaron Judge for the second straight year will finish the regular season with MLB's most popular player jersey despite him missing seven weeks this summer with a wrist injury. Judge also topped the list, based on sales of Majestic jerseys at MLBShop.com, last year during his rookie season, a campaign in which he won the Home Run Derby and placed second in AL MVP voting. Astros 2B Jose Altuve, who topped Judge in last year’s MVP vote, jumped from 13th in the ’17 list to second this year. Cubs 2B Javier Baez, Dodgers P Clayton Kershaw and Red Sox RF Mookie Betts round out this year’s top five. Angels DH/P Shohei Ohtani placed eighth, the highest-ranking rookie.
