Chip Ganassi Racing is retaining IndyCar sponsor NTT Data with a multiyear deal that will see the company remain the primary sponsor of the No. 10 car during the '19 season. Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist on Friday will be unveiled as the driver for the No. 10 entry, replacing Ed Jones. Rosenqvist most recently drove in Formula E. NTT Data, which also has a deal with McLaren in F1, is a global IT services provider based in Tokyo.

OFF TO A GOOD START: PNC Bank said it enjoyed a positive start to its partnership with CGR this year, as the bank worked on B2B goals off the track and exceeded exposure projections on the track. PNC joined Ganassi this year as the full-season sponsor of the No. 9 car driven by Scott Dixon, who claimed his fifth Verizon IndyCar Series championship. Financial terms of PNC’s deal with CGR are not known; full-season deals can go for around $10M, but Ganassi may have had to reduce its pricing as it took more than a year to replace Target. PNC Exec VP & Head of Regional Presidents Louis Cestello, whose company also signed an official NASCAR deal this year, said that PNC mainly utilized the assets gained from the CGR deal to entertain clients and prospects at races. He said it is unclear at this stage the precise ROI that PNC earned.
