Audience Analysis: Tiger Gives Tour Championship Record Numbers

NBC averaged 5.89 million viewers from 1:30-6:00pm ET on Sunday for Tiger Woods’ win at the Tour Championship, marking the best figure for the event on record and best figure for any FedExCup Playoffs event since the PGA Tour introduced the system in ’07. The figure this year also is up 180% from 2.1 million viewers for Xander Schauffele’s win in ’17. On Sunday from 3:00-6:00pm alone, which is the normal Sunday PGA Tour window, NBC averaged 7.18 million viewers for the Tour Championship.
