Royals Season-Ticket Holders Can Hit Home Run To Win Free Seats

Royals fans who "buy or renew" an 80-, 41- or 21-game ticket package by Oct. 26 will "have a chance to hit a home run" for their seats, according to Pete Grathoff of the K.C. STAR. Eligible season-ticket holders will "have the chance to go on the field at Kauffman Stadium and take swings at five pitches from a pitching machine." If they hit a home run, the fan will "win his or her seat" for the '19 season (capped at $10,000 in value). In addition to the home-run contest, season-ticket holders who "sign up or renew" by Oct. 26 will get "free parking in March, April and May" (K.C. STAR, 9/26). The Rangers had a similar promotion prior to the '16 season (THE DAILY).
