She said that she is "seriously considering a variety of opportunities, which could also include another book." Patrick: "It could be an app, it could be an online program, it could also find other specialty delivery systems that I've been thinking about. And then there's the cooking, which could be a cookbook itself. It could be a cooking show" (USATODAY.com, 9/8). 

REMAIN SEATED: An ethics investigation cleared Oakland Mayor LIBBY SCHAAF and City Council member LYNETTE GIBSON MCELHANEY for their use of "free tickets to sporting events," including the NBA Finals. Members of the city's Public Ethics Commission will "make a final decision during their meeting" tomorrow. The recommendation came despite Schaaf "personally using $54,000 worth of tickets" and McElhaney "personally using $320,000 in tickets" (SFCHRONICLE.com, 9/9).

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
