Levy Wins Food Vending Job For Las Vegas 51s' New Triple-A Ballpark

Levy Restaurants "won the food vending job" for the Triple-A PCL Las Vegas 51s' new $150M, 10,000-seat ballpark being built by Howard Hughes Corp. in downtown Summerlin, according to Alan Snel of LVSPORTSBIZ.com. Levy also has the "food/beverage contracts at T-Mobile Arena and Las Vegas Motor Speedway." Levy is also "still in the mix for consideration as the food/bev concessionaire at the Raiders stadium." Centerplate has the food contract at Cashman Field, where the 51s played their final game on Sunday, but it "came up short" in its bid for the new ballpark in Summerlin. Centerplate appears "out of the running for the new Raiders stadium, too." A manager with Centerplate said that the company would "like to continue serving food and beverages" at USL club Las Vegas Lights FC soccer games at Cashman Field (LVSPORTSBIZ.com, 9/4).
