Buyers & Sellers: Rockets' Chris Paul Sells Calabasas Mansion

Rockets G CHRIS PAUL sold his mansion in Calabasas, Calif., for $11.05M. The Mediterranean-style home features "glossy hardwood floors, a carved stone fireplace and a curvilinear sunken wet bar next to an impressively proportioned arched window." The dining room has a "climate-controlled walk-in wine cellar" and a "granite-topped snack counter." The family room features a "fireplace surmounted by a flat-screen TV" (VARIETY.com, 8/27).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Free agent 1B ADRIAN GONZALEZ purchased a home in the Hancock Park neighborhood of L.A. for $10.5M. Set on two lots totaling about an acre, the Mediterranean Revival-style home was built in '26. The two-story mansion "blends Palladian and Italianate design elements." Within the 8,500-square-foot interior are a "beamed-ceiling entry hall, a paneled library with a fireplace, five bedrooms and separate staff quarters." Built as a "showplace for entertaining, the home boasts a large-scale living room and dining rooms and multiple loggias set beneath groin vault ceilings" (LATIMES.com, 8/29)....A's manager BOB MELVIN sold his home in Berkeley for $3M. A mix of "balconies, terraces and living spaces splashed with tile and wood, the home features five bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms" across 5,412 square feet of living space. Melvin purchased the property five years ago for $2.3M (LATIMES.com, 8/29)....NHL Rangers coach DAVID QUINN purchased a loft in the Chelsea neighborhood of N.Y. for $2.67M. Spanning more than 2,000 square feet, the "one-bedroom apartment" is located at Chelsea Mercantile, a 100-year-old, "limestone-clad garment factory converted into luxury condominiums" (NYPOST.com, 8/23).
