Executive Transactions

The Devils named MARTIN BRODEUR Exec VP/Business Development. Brodeur most recently served as Assistant GM for the Blues, where he has been in the front office since his retirement from the NHL in '15. In his new role, Brodeur will work across all of the team's departments to identify, capitalize and develop business opportunities for the Devils, Prudential Center and parent company Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. He will report to Devils President HUGH WEBER. Brodeur played 21 of his 22 years in the NHL with the Devils, winning three Stanley Cups with the club (Ian Thomas, Staff Writer). Meanwhile, the Blues promoted Dir of Amateur Scouting BILL ARMSTRONG to Assistant GM, replacing Brodeur. Armstrong will also keep his current role. The Blues also promoted Dir of Hockey Administration RYAN MILLER to Dir of Hockey Operations and Assistant GM KEVIN MCDONALD to GM of AHL affiliate San Antonio Rampage (Blues).

BACK TO SCHOOL: The Univ. of Alaska-Fairbanks named Savannah State AD STERLING STEWARD JR. to the same position (UAF)....George Mason named Univ. of Maryland Senior Associate AD/Strategic Communications & Media Relations ZACK BOLNO Deputy AD/External Operations (247SPORTS.com, 8/27)....The Univ. of Hartford named Houston Baptist Univ. Deputy AD TOM PAYNE Senior Associate AD/Business Operations & Internal Affairs (UH)....The Aspire Group promoted WHITNEY GOULISH to Theatre Box Office Dir for FAU. Aspire Group also named the following: BRIAN SHERMAN Sales & Service Consultant (Pepperdine); NICK DOBSON Group Sales Consultant (Purdue); EVAN BOOKER New Business & Development Consultant (Kansas); ALEX BRUNING Sales Consultant (Denver); KEVIN CLEMENTS Sales Consultant (Cleveland State); NICK MICCO Sales Consultant (Akron); and ZAC WHITE Sales Consultant (Northeastern) (THE DAILY).

EXECS: Former Indians Senior VP/Sales & Business Development VIC GREGOVITS will become the President of the San Antonio Alliance of American Football team (THE DAILY)....MSG named Wyndham Worldwide Senior VP/Government Relations & Commercial Contracts RICHARD CONSTABLE to the newly created role of Exec VP & Global Head of Government Relations & Public Affairs. Constable will report to MSG Chair & CEO JIM DOLAN (MSG).
