Florida Hospital Gets Naming Rights To Buccaneers' Training Center

The Buccaneers' practice and training complex -- One Buc Place -- will now be "known as the AdventHealth Training Center under a 10-year deal" between the Bucs and the parent company of Florida Hospital, according to Richard Danielson of the TAMPA BAY TIMES. Neither the team nor company would "disclose how much money AdventHealth will put into the agreement." But Florida Hospital (West Florida Division) President & CEO Mike Schultz said the agreement is "certainly" for seven figures. Florida Hospital "will become AdventHealth," effective Jan. 2. Hospital administrators "see an expanded relationship with the Bucs as a way to introduce the hospital anew in a crowded, competitive health care market." Florida Hospital has been the "exclusive hospital of the football team under a sponsorship relationship that's been in place" since '12 (TAMPA BAY TIMES, 8/28). In Tampa, Veronica Brezina-Smith noted AdventHealth will also "have its name on the corporate headquarters at One Buc Place," which includes the 112,660-square-foot indoor facility now in its second season of use (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/27).
