NFL Giants RB Saquon Barkley has "left Roc Nation" for marketing purposes to go to CAA, but will "still be repped" by Roc Nation for his playing contract, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell (TWITTER.com, 8/19). SI.com's Emily Caron noted Roc Nation's Kim Miale will continue to handle Barkley's "contracts and football matters." CAA reps "several notable NFL players," including Falcons WR Julio Jones, Texans DE J.J. Watt and WR DeAndre Hopkins, as well as "big-name quarterbacks" like the Falcons' Matt Ryan, the Chargers' Philip Rivers, the Cowboys' Dak Prescott and the Saints' Drew Brees (SI.com, 8/19). BLEACHER REPORT's Joseph Zucker wrote Barkley's decision "should give him the best of both worlds" as Roc Nation "will tend to his football matters, while CAA can ensure he's capitalizing on his image off the field" (BLEACHERREPORT.com, 8/19). Barkley's current sponsorship portfolio includes Nike, PepsiCo and Panini America (THE DAILY).
