Skin In The Game: Aly Raisman Headlines New Campaign For Olay

Raisman and the other women in the campaign currently grace larger-than-life billboards in N.Y.ALY RAISMAN

Gold Medal-winning U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman is "daring to bare all" as she "stars in the new Face Anything campaign" for P&G's Olay skin care brand, according to Olivia Vanni of the BOSTON HERALD. Through the newly launched campaign, Raisman and eight other women will "grace the pages of Vogue, with its 10-page spread in the magazine’s September issue." Each woman also has had their face "plastered on larger-than-life billboards" in Times Square. The campaign asks women to "combat the negative connotations of the word 'too' and just be themselves." NFL Net host Kay Adams is also part of the campaign (BOSTONHERALD.com, 8/15). AD AGE's Jack Neff noted the campaign's ads will highlight how the women have "overcome challenges and fears." The message is "about empowering women to be themselves -- starting with their skin -- while ignoring haters and labels." The campaign will "include a 'makeup-free' New York Fashion Week show in September, where women will walk the runway sans makeup after taking Olay's '28 Day Challenge,' to showcase how their skin changes after four weeks" of using Olay products (ADAGE.com, 8/13).
