Media Notes

Jaguars fans in select markets can "watch every preseason game on their streaming devices" for the "first time in franchise history." A "free live digital stream will be available" to audiences in Jacksonville, Orlando, Daytona, Savannah and Gainesville -- plus the U.K. and Mexico -- at www.jaguars.com/live and on the official Jaguars app (JACKSONVILLE.com, 8/7).

SAYING FAREWELL: In Boston, Chad Finn noted longtime NBC Sports Boston anchor and reporter Mike Giardi is "leaving the network." Giardi had been there for "nearly a decade" and "most notably hosted on-site Patriots coverage." He has "another job lined up, one believed to be in a similar role but of greater prominence" (BOSTON GLOBE, 8/7).

VIEW FINDER: In Honolulu, Ferd Lewis reported the city's two competing cable entities, Hawaiian Telcom and Spectrum, are "offering a home-heavy pay-per-view package" of seven of the Univ. of Hawaii's 13 regular-season football games this season. That is "one more PPV offering" than '17, when six of the team's 12 games "were available." This season's remaining six games "will be available without PPV" (STAR-ADVERTISER.com, 8/6).
