Jaguars Unveil First In-Stadium Dog Park At TIAA Bank Field
TIAA Bank Field's Pet Paradise dog park was "unveiled to the media" yesterday, the first "in-stadium dog park" in the NFL, according to Beth Reese Cravey of the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION. The Jaguars partnered with local pet resort company Pet Paradise, and over the course of the '18 NFL season, 250 park tickets "will be available." Jaguars Senior VP/Corporate Partnerships Scott Massey said of the new dog park, "I am blown away. It's better than we could ever have dreamt." Massey said that the park is the team's' latest "venture to improve the game-day experience." The park's play area and pool are "similar to that found in other Pet Paradise locations." Pet Paradise CEO Fernando Acosta-Rua said that the park "received a lot of attention, even in national media," and once it is opened for home games, including Thursday against the Saints, "there will be more." In addition to the pool and artificial-turf play area, the park "features palm trees and a web camera for people to log on and watch live footage of park activities." Pet Paradise employees, "including a veterinarian, will be on site at all times" (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 8/7).
