Bids Being Accepted For New Seat Backs At Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Sports Authority is accepting bids for new seat backs to be installed throughout Raymond James Stadium. The TSA has an RFP out for the general seating areas at the Buccaneers' stadium. Bids are due Aug. 16. TSA VP/Marketing & Communications Bobby Silvest said the RFP asks bidders for pricing for various quantities of seats. Those range between 5,000-55,000 seats, according to bid documents. Raymond James Stadium, which opened in '98, is in the midst of the fourth phase of a $160M renovation. That has included improved club and premium areas as well as new scoreboards and video boards. The stadium seats 65,890 and will host Super Bowl LV in '21.
