Spander counts NBA reporter Ric Bucher (l) among her many broadcasting clients DEBBIE SPANDER

SI.com's Jake Fischer profiled Wasserman agent DEBBIE SPANDER, who "represents coaches and front office executives" and is the "only female in that sect of the NBA industry, competing with the fabled likes of LONNIE COOPER, WARREN LEGARIE and STEVE KAUFFMAN." Spander has "been around professional sports since childhood" thanks to her father, longtime sports columnist ART SPANDER. Her personal client list features Bulls coach FRED HOIBERG, Warriors assistant coach JARRON COLLINS, Pelicans assistant coach DARREN ERMAN, Lakers scout ANTAWN JAMISON and Thunder scout NAZR MOHAMMED (SI.com, 7/24).

HEADING TO COURT: Former NFLer ERIC DAVIS and Pro Football HOFer MICHAEL IRVIN were "named as defendants" in a lawsuit filed against NFL Enterprises yesterday in L.A. Superior Court. Former NFL Network makeup artist ERIN MCPARLAND said that she was "'subjected to ongoing and continuing sexual harassment by current and former on-air talent and other employees' during her roughly two years at the network" that started in '14. Davis was also "among several named in a lawsuit filed against NFL Enterprises" by former stylist JAMI CANTOR (USA TODAY, 7/25)....The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit against Fanatics "over racial-discrimination allegations." The lawsuit said that a Fanatics supervisor, VINCENT PERKINS, was "called a racial slur on his first day at work" in '12 (FLORIDA TIMES-UNION, 7/25). The company in a statement said, "Fanatics is committed to treating all employees fairly and takes complaints like this very seriously. We deny any wrongdoing and look forward to vigorously defending these claims in court" (THE DAILY).

NAMES: Warriors G STEPHEN CURRY and F ANDRE IGUODALA “invested in multigame esports organization Swift,” the parent company of Team SoloMid and its affiliated businesses. Curry and Iguodala are part of a greater $37M investment round led by S.F.-based VC firm Bessemer Venture Partners (ESPN.com, 7/24)....Eagles C JASON KELCE played baritone saxophone with the Philadelphia Orchestra last night to “benefit the team’s autistic challenge.” The music accompanied the team’s highlights from NFL Films (AP, 7/24)....Former NFLer STEPHEN TULLOCH is opening Circle House Coffee, a drive-through coffee shop, in Ft. Lauderdale (SOUTHFLORIDA.com, 7/24).
