Longtime Nike Exec Hannah Jones Will Head Internal Incubator

Jones in her new role will continue to report to Nike President of Advanced Innovation Tom Clarkenike

Nike Chief Sustainability Officer HANNAH JONES has a "new job" as Nike Valiant Labs President, the company's "in-house business incubator," according to Matthew Kish of the PORTLAND BUSINESS JOURNAL. Jones has been serving as VP of the incubator, "formerly known as the Nike Innovation Accelerator." A 20-year Nike employee, Jones served as CSO for 14 years. Jones "will be succeeded" by 19-year Nike employee NOEL KINDER, who "most recently worked as" VP/Sustainable Manufacturing & Sourcing. Valiant Labs is "charged with developing new products and lines of business." Jones will "continue to report" to Nike President of Advanced Innovation TOM CLARKE. Kinder will "report to Clarke" and Nike COO ERIC SPRUNK (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/3).
