Under Armour Makes Key Hires In Fast-Growing International Division

Under Armour "announced a slew of appointments for its international business regions Monday, including a couple of promotions and a new hire," according to Holden Wilen of the BALTIMORE BUSINESS JOURNAL. The company named JASON ARCHER Managing Dir of Asia-Pacific, MANUEL OVALLE Managing Dir of Latin America and MASSIMO BARATTO Managing Dir of Europe, Middle East & Africa. Under Armour's international business "has been growing fast." International sales "make up" 24% of UA's total revenue. Archer replaces ERICK HASKELL, who "plans to leave Under Armour later this month to pursue a new opportunity." The Asia-Pacific region in particular has been "driving Under Armour's international growth." All of the regional heads "will report" to UA President PATRIK FRISK (BIZJOURNALS.com, 7/2).
